FAQ

What is Dirtch?
Dirtch.com is a service that lets you check and monitor your reputation or the reputation of anyone you deal with. You can set up a monitor on a name and get alert daily, weekly or monthly when new results are found. Dirtch will find illegal activities, legal problems, frauds, scams, shady dealings, bad reputation or very negative comments about a person or related to a person in government records, websites and in social media.

At this time in beta testing, Dirtch will show you results based on the name only, which may include results of different people who have the same name. So you need to figure out which results are of the person you are checking on.

As you use Dirtch, it continues to learn to improve its sophisticated semantic analysis algorithm to offer your more results and more accurate results. The current scope of search performed by Dirtch is very focused. As we add resources, we will continue to expand the scope of the search and the depth of the semantic analysis.

Dirtch is only one application of our invention. We are working on expanding the offering to business names and brand names, which will be launched soon. If you are interested in finding out how we can help you protect the reputation of your business and brand names, please contact us at info (at) wizag {dot] com

Another site using the same technology is QuestforCures.com - An intelligent search engine specialized in the search for cures to difficult health problems.

What can I use Dirtch for? Can't I just use a background checker?
You can use Dirtch to find out and to monitor if there is any bad rap on you on the web, or check up and monitor anyone, e.g., your boss, your business partners, your neighbors, your employees, or anyone you deal with.

A background checker only checks government records. Many things such as a person's reputation in social media are not in government records. Plus, background checkers charge a hefty fee for each name you check and for each time you check it.

Dirtch checks government websites and all other websites including social media. Dirtch can automatically alert you when it finds new results. Plus, Dirtch is free, at least for now.

How does Dirtch do it? Can't I just use Google?
Dirtch performs thousands of searches (even more as we add server resources) on each name you enter and semantically analyzes hundreds of thousands of results to pick out the most relevant ones to show. It takes time to do all the semantic analysis. That's why it may not show you results right away unless it is a name that has been searched before. For a new name, it will email you the results when it is done, which usually takes a few minutes to a few hours, depending on how busy the server is and how many results it has to sift through.

Yes, you can do it with Google, if you are prepared to do thousands of searches on a name and sift through hundreds of thousands of results to find out the relevant ones.

Why do you want my email and what will you used it for?
Dirtch sends an email to you when it completes a search or when new results are found. It may also occasionally send you updates on new features. No other emails will be sent to you and your email will not be provided to any third party. You can stop the alert email on a name at any time by clicking on the Remove Alert link at the end of every email we send.
